Mobile Photography competition 2024
Eligibility:
- This competition is only for Bhartiya/Indian citizens.
- Participants must enter the pictures taken within Bharat/India only.
- Only photos clicked using mobile are eligible for submission.
- The Photography Competition is open to amateur and professional photographers, aged 16+ years on 1-Oct-2024.
- Photos submitted should be taken within last two years.
Themes:
- Landscape and Nature Photography : Any natural landscape like land, sky and water at a distance or anything related to nature flaura and fauna.
- Architecture and Historical Monuments Photography : Any mobile pictures of a famous building or historical monument within India.
- Long Exposure Photography : Pictures that have been taken using long exposure of shutter of your mobile camera. Some of the examples are Trail lights, Light Painting, Long exposure shots of waterfalls, beaches, night sky and Panning shots etc.
- Macro Photography : These pictures shows details of insect world or any other part of nature. Mobile external macro lens photos allowed. (No stacking)
General Guidelines:
- No. of Entries: Each participant can submit two entries per theme.
- Editing: Standard editing for
enhancement, such as brightness, minor colour corrections, contrast, tone, brightness
are acceptable but without any alteration by
adding,rearranging, reversing, distorting or
removing living creatures and/or objects from within the frame. Dust and
digital noise removal is allowed, until it looks natural.
- No selective editing should be done (except
sharpening of subject)
- Original files will be
required as proof for winners and needs to be submitted when
requested for.
- The submitted image(s) does not
infringe on the ownership and copyright of other individuals, organisations,
entity, etc.
- The Entrant gives full rights for the organiser to use the images for their images in promotional activities, brochures, calendar with acknowledgment
of the photographer's name.
- Photos taken using any other digital or DSLR camera will not
be eligible for a prize.
File Format:
- Photos must be in ratio 4x5 or 5x4 or 1:1
- Size of photo must be between 500kb to 2Mb
- Also Name, signature,
water marks, border, company name etc are not to be affixed on the pictures or
the captions. Such entries will be disqualified
- Every photo must be
named as per the format: Photo title – Your name – Your Place
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and Originality.
- Emotional impact
- Composition

- Last date of Submission: 3rd November 2024 (11:59 PM)
- Result Date : 26th November 2024
Participation fee and Prizes:
- There is a small participation fee of ₹ 100 per theme. You can send 2 photos in one theme.
- If you want to participate in more than one theme, then multiply the number of themes X ₹ 100. Example, if you want to participate in 2 themes, then ₹ 200 would be the participation fees.
- Top 10 photos in each category will get a certificate.
- In case, any particular themse don't get enough entries, then we will remove that theme from competition and refund the amount paid.
