ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Humayun’s Tomb is one of the top destination for monuments and architechture photography in New Delhi. Multiple structures within the 1complex with different designs provide a wonderful oppotunity to photographers to shoot differently like strong symmetry, layered arches, and textured stone that reward careful framing. Reflecting pools allow photographers to create balanced, cinematic shots.
So either you are photographer or cinematographer, the destination offers ample opportunities to all.
Points Tips:
- Learn to capture iconic architecture and candid urban life with confident composition and storytelling.
- Master light, shadow, and timing to create dramatic monument shots and evocative street scenes.
- Hands-on shooting exercises, practical camera settings, and quick editing tips to refine your vision.
- Walk away with a polished portfolio of images and techniques you can use immediately.
- Lens: Wide angle for structure and mid range for compressed details and architectural patterns
- Compostion: Best are symmetry and leading lines are majorly used here.
- Look for textured stone, carved jalis, and shadow patterns to make intimate, editorial-style images.
- Keep colours natural, Tight crops on arches or jali patterns can turn architecture into abstract compositions.
